About Me

I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (movement science).  While there, I was a member of the Women's Swim & Dive Team from 2003-2007.  Upon graduation, I attended Tri-State Business Institute where I received my Associate of Science degree in Massage Therapy.  In 2008 I was fortunate enough to apprentice and perform sports massage at the Women's Swimming & Diving Big Ten Championships in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  I am nationally certified and state licensed in massage therapy.  I also attended University of Pittsburgh at Titusville where I received my Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assistant along with my PTA license.  In 2018 I returned to school for my BSN at Edinboro University and received by RN license.  I am currently working at Meadville Medical Center in their Labor and Delivery Unit.

I have been performing massages since 2008 and specialize in deep tissue massage, medical massage, myofascial release, pregnancy massage, sports massage, swedish massage, and trigger point therapy. I also apply manual stretching techniques to muscle groups that lack full range of motion. In addition, I have been a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant since 2012 and licensed Registered Nurse since 2019.

I have office hours at Therapeutic Massage Therapy by Erin, LLC located at 375 Chestnut St. in Meadville, PA  Monday-Friday and the second Saturday of every month by appointment only.  In addition, I work full time as a Registered Nurse at Meadville Medical Center.

Extensive classes include: orthopedics, pathology, therapeutic modalities and exercise, have assisted me in understanding more about diseases such as Fibromyalgia and MS.  Practicing physical therapy and massage therapy side by side have helped me better treat my patients in both physical and massage therapy.
